Varje år får 58 000 personer i Sverige en cancerdiagnos, 65 procent blir botade och många andra kan leva med cancern som en ”kronisk” sjukdom. Cancerfondens vision är att besegra cancer. Målet är att färre ska drabbas och fler överleva. Sedan Cancerfonden grundades 1951 har överlevnaden i cancer mer än fördubblats och sedan 2007 har överlevnaden ökat med hela åtta procentenheter. Vi har både nära och kära som har drabbats av cancer, därför tycker vi det är extra viktigt att stödja kampen mot cancern. Tack för att ni vill bidra. The overall aim of the society is to achieve a higher survival rate and a reduction in the incidence of cancer. We have both family and friends that have been fighting against cancer.
